Wyena (drummer + keyboardist) is the founder of AthenA.
She managed to start the band on 31 July 2003.
Inspired by the movie of Saint Seiya, she decided to name the band 'AthenA'.
Besides drum, she is also able to play another music instruments such as keyboard and guitar. She is influenced by Dream Theatre, Muse, RHCP, Limpbizkit, S.O.A.D, RATM, Finch and great Indonesian local band; Gigi.
Wyena is currently finishing her study at Faculty of Technic
Universitas Indonesia.
Windri (keyboardist + vocalist) was found by Wyena in 2003
when she won best vocalist at Al-Azhar 'Balance' Music Festival.
A year later, she decided to join AthenA.
Windri started playing keyboard when she was still in the year of 5.
However, keyboard is not the only instrument that she is able to play.
She could also play drum and guitar.
This chocolate lover is also the one who manages the design
and graphic of AthenA's blog and cover album.
A graduate of Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia
in 2007 is also currently practicing law in one of lawfirm in Jakarta.
Tita (bassist) started to join AthenA from the moment
AthenA was established. Her ability in playing bass is fabuluos!
This rocker lady adores RHCP, The Used, My Chemical Romance,
Level 42, Mr. Big, Gigi and Funky Kopral.
Her music is influenced by Flea, John Myung, Billy Sehan,
Chuck Rainey, Bondan Prakoso, Thomas and Hendro.
She believes in her music and live her life with it!
Ingga (additional vocalist) joined AthenA in 2007.
A student of Faculty of Cultural Science Universitas Indonesia
who majors in Russian Language has this small, soft voice
and embroider AthenA's alternative rock music in her unique way.
Pipit (guitarist) is the youngest of all.
But don't underestimate her ability in rockin' the music as she is also the guitar player for Gita Gutawa band.
She is influenced by Dir en grey, The gazette, SID. Due Le Quartz,
Luna Sea, Tokyo Jihen, Anna Tsuchiyaki, Amano Tsukiko, Malice Mizer, L'Arc en Ciel, Megadeth, Zeppelin, David Gilmour, John Mayer, Lee Ritenour, Paul Gilbert and many more. She is basically open to all kinds of music.
